We are getting married and want to celebrate it with you!

Borgo San Faustino

Italy was the destination of our first trip together and it became the place of one of our happiest memories. It is a country we fell in love with while we were falling in love with each other, and that is why we wanted to return there for our wedding!

When we first visited Borgo San Faustino in the hills of Umbria, we knew right away that it was the right place for our special weekend. The Borgo sits on a hill surrounded by vineyards and the Italian countryside landscape, with historic buildings dating back to the 12th century that have been thoughtfully restored.

The area is part of a UNESCO designated reserve, and the food and wine are fresh and local, either produced on the property or sourced from the nearby farms.
On the day of the wedding we will bring everyone to a spot beside the hotel that we are keeping as a little surprise. We cannot wait for you to see it!

First, getting to Italy:

We recommend flying into Rome, either Fiumicino (FCO) or Ciampino (CIA). There are direct flights from Berlin, Hamburg, São Paulo and many other cities.

Second, getting to the venue:

Getting to the venue from Rome is easy (130km, approx. 1:40h by car). We recommend renting a car, especially if you're planning to extend your trip and explore more of Italy.
For those who requested the shuttle service in the RSVP, see more infos in FAQ!

We suggest two nearby hotels, but there are plenty of other options in the area. Feel free to reach out to us if you need any help!

Hotel Agriturismo Elmo

https://maps.app.goo.gl/WDG6CezAhgeTow469
Agriturismo Elmo is a great nearby choice, a charming old farmhouse with affordable rates. It’s only a 6-minute walk from the wedding venue, perfect for getting home after the party without needing a car.
To book a room, please email [email protected] and let them know you are attending our wedding. We have blocked all rooms at the hotel for our guests, but availability is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Tenuta Ponziani Wine Resort & Spa

https://tenutaponziani.it/en/
Tenuta Ponziani is a more upscale option, a luxurious wine resort with spa facilities and refined accommodations. It's about a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue, so you'll most likely need a car to get there and back after the celebration.

Please note that all wedding events will be at Borgo San Faustino, outdoors if weather permits. Please bring a jacket as evenings can be cold and windy.

Cocktail attire with an Italian sunset feel! Here are a few suggestions to make getting dressed a little easier:
For women, our suggestion is midi or long dresses in colorful tones, and please avoid white or ivory.
For men, our suggestion is a suit in a soft, elegant tone such as navy, grey, taupe, olive, or similar shades. Tie is optional. If you can, avoid beige and sandy tones.
Since we'll be dancing late into the night, if you're wearing high heels, please bring a comfortable pair of shoes to change into for the party!
